The other day I was looking at my sister in laws blog and saw some fun pictures of Kaia's cute cousin Jade painting. I wondered why I had never let Kaia try to color. I always loved coloring! I decided to let her try. Then it hit me. I didn't have any crayons! What kind of a mother am I? :) I looked through my things and found a set of oil pastels from my college days and got her ready to make a masterpiece. Everything seemed to be going great...........for about 30 seconds!
Then I realized why I hadn't ever tried this before! Kaia is still in the crayon eating stage.
The page makes a fun toy anyway and now hangs on the fridge with a small note that reads To: Daddy From: Kaia. It most likely will not get replaced any time soon!
