Long Time No Post

It has been a while since I posted.  Last month we were able to go on a short trip to Utah for Alex's wedding!  Yay!  It was a very happy day and of course awesome to go home and spend time with family.  It was fun to be able to take her wedding photos and do her hair!  There are too many photos to post here but hopefully when I get everything in life in control (ya right) I will post them on my website.  For now here is one of my favorites.

Of course this post needs some photos of Kaia.  She looked adorable as the little flower girl.  Here are a couple. 

Back in Michigan it has been hot and humid.  We went camping again next to Lake Michigan.  It is a different camping experience here but Kaia sure loves to play on the beach in the sand and the water.  I am not posting any photos at this time.  I will blame that on the humidity and what it does to my hair and how beautiful I look in all the photos.  :)  Anyway here is a photo I took recently.  It was my first attempt at photographing fireflies which are everywhere here!  It is really fun to go out at night and watch them.  Photographing them was harder than I thought.  You see them flying everywhere but as soon as I set up my camera it was like they refused to fly in front of my lens.  After some patience I was at least able to capture a few.  The green streaks of course are the fireflies.
